Upcoming Meeting:
SICB Annual Meeting, January 3-7, 2023, in Austin, TX
The National Science Foundation (NSF) plans to have an exhibitor booth at the annual meeting of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) in Austin, Texas. Please stop by on January 4-6, 2023, to schedule an appointment to meet one-on-one with an NSF Program Director (PD) from the Division of Integrative Organismal Systems (IOS) or the Division of Biological Infrastructure (DBI) to discuss funding opportunities. It may also be possible to set up Zoom meetings with other PDs, including those from the Division of Environmental Biology (DEB).
NSF Program Directors will also be presenting at several sessions:
- January 4 & 5, 2023, at the SICB Divisional Member Meetings, to summarize what’s new at NSF and discuss opportunities for serving as a panelist, reviewer, or rotating Program Director.
- January 4, 2023, at 12:00-1:30 p.m., room Lonestar D – NSF Program Directors will present a lunch time workshop with updates on funding opportunities in NSF-BIO and a Q&A session. The workshop will be live-streamed so online meeting registrants can participate.
