National postdoc appreciation week.

Since 2009, the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) has hosted a National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) in recognition of the outstanding contributions that postdoctoral researchers make to the U.S. scientific enterprise. 

BIO sends its thanks to all postdocs for their hard work and dedication to advancing the science supported by BIO through its core programs and especially through its Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Biology (PRFB) program. Our postdocs work diligently to achieve their scientific goals and career aspirations. The COVID-19 pandemic has been especially hard on postdocs and the NPAW is the nation’s way of showing appreciation for the work they do. We couldn’t do this without you!
