Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Program Update

For investigators who are at, or who have a collaborator at, a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) please be aware that the HSI program has updated their solicitation (NSF 20-599).  Starting this week, the program directors in the HSI program will hold a series of virtual office hours where they will talk about changes to the solicitation and answer any questions you have about the program and about their updated solicitation. 

HSI virtual office hours occur on Thursday and Friday afternoons (3-5 p.m. EST) on the following days:

• October 29^th and 30^th
• November 5^th and 6^th
• November 12^th and 13^th
• November 19^th and 20^th
• December 3^rd and 4^th
• December 10^th and 11^th
• January 7^th and 8^th

New Mid-Career Advancement Solicitation

The Mid-Career Advancement solicitation (NSF 21-516) is now available. Through the new Mid-Career Advancement (MCA) program, NSF is seeking proposals from mid-career scientists at the Associate Professor rank (or equivalent) who wish to substantively advance their research program and career trajectory through synergistic and mutually beneficial partnerships. By supporting investigators at this critical career stage, NSF aims to enable and grow a more diverse scientific workforce at high academic ranks, who remain engaged and active in cutting edge research.
