There are unique opportunities at NSF for investigators at one of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). One of these, the HBCU-Excellence in Research (HBCU-EiR) solicitation (NSF 20-542), is designed to help increase research capacity at HBCU’s by funding research in individual investigator’s labs and supporting inclusion of graduate and undergraduate students in your research.
The Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences (MCB) will be hosting a series of workshops in the coming months providing investigators interested in the HBCU-EIR solicitation with information about the Divisions in the Biological Sciences Directorate (BIO), providing advice on developing proposals for review in BIO, and having investigators participate in mock review panels to give you a better sense of how proposals are handled during review.
Space is limited and registration for these workshops closes soon (May 7th). Please use the attached PDF form for registration, just complete the form and send to MCBwebreg@nsf.gov. You can also use MCBwebreg@nsf.gov for questions you have about registration or the workshops themselves.
