The Division of Integrative Organismal Systems (IOS) held a Virtual Office Hour on October 24th, 2019 focused on the new solicitation from the Inclusion Across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (INCLUDES) (NSF 19-600). During this office hour, we were joined by Program Directors Sophie George (BIO/DBI) and Kurt Thoroughman (SBE/BCS) from the INCLUDES initiative who presented basic information about the new competition for planning grants that all are welcome to apply for.
They have made their presentation and a list of useful INCLUDES resources available:

If you weren’t able to attend today, an upcoming INCLUDES Live Question and Answer Session will be held November 7th, 2019 @ 1pm EST. Please visit the Planning Grant Solicitation Q & A Session Access Page to RSVP for the November 7th Q & A Session. You can also email questions concerning an INCLUDES planning grant proposal to or contact program staff listed in the individual funding opportunity description.
As always, we are here to help provide advice and feedback if you have questions about proposal submission to IOS programs. The answers to many of the questions asked in this Virtual Office Hour can be found in the summaries of past Virtual Office Hours.
