A revised solicitation for the IOS Core Programs was just released. The revised solicitation (NSF 17-508) replaces solicitation NSF 16-505 and applies to preliminary proposal submissions due January 19, 2017, and invited full proposal submissions. Note that this preliminary proposal deadline is one day earlier than advertised in the previous solicitation due to the closure of NSF and other DC area federal agencies for the presidential inauguration day on January 20th.
There are two other changes for the revised solicitation. First, the EDGE track is removed. This popular program is expected to return via its own solicitation some time in 2017. Second, the IOS Conflict of Interest (COI) spreadsheet has been revised to conform to the new PAPPG requirements to list Collaborators and Other Affiliations (COA). The new COA workbook (click to open in Excel or save) should be uploaded as a “single copy document” (as instructed in the PAPPG) and modified to include the FastLane proposal number obtained upon submission, then sent via email to IOScoaspreadsheet@nsf.gov.
As always, please contact an IOS Program Director if you have additional questions!
